Message from our Journal Editor:

TALES FROM THE GREAT SCALDWOOD 2024 EDITION

*Deadline:To submit articles by July 31st 2023*

First of all, may I introduce myself as the new Editor of TALES FROM THE GREAT SCALDWOOD. With trepidation I follow on from Noreen Maher who has acted with such distinction as your Editor previously and whose invaluable assistance I have already begun to borrow on.

The Editorial Board invites all members of the Blanchardstown and Castleknock History Society and all those who have Dublin 15 connections to submit articles for the 2024 edition of TALES FROM THE GREAT SCALDWOOD. We would be pleased to receive articles for inclusion in the Journal by July 31st (This is to allow time for editing, preparation for print deadlines etc). Family stories, historical accounts, buildings of interest, photos.... All are welcome.
